Vesna is the coach of the Slovenian women national team. She began playing the sport at the age of six. During her playing career, she had participated in three Balkan Games, 26 international tournaments, 15 European championships & two World Championships.

She has won the cadet champion twice (1981, 1982), been a junior champion twice (1982, 1984), In the Balkan championships in Ivangradu (1983) she placed 3rd place in the State in doubles with her sister Andrea. In Athens (1984) 1st place team in the States, in Plevnu (1985) 1st place team in the States and 3rd place in mixed doubles the Zoran Primorac. At the European championships she has won six medals.

Her sports career ended at the age of 23 years and she moved into the water treatment business. In 2002, along with her sister Andrea and her husband, she revived the table tennis activities in her hometown of Hrastnik, through the creation of a new club NTK Hrastnik. From 2010 onwards Vesna has been actively involved with the Slovenian womens national team, either as a selector or as a coach of the national team.

He has been a catalyst to the growth of table tennis in India. A distinguished player in his own right, Mr. Gupta has represented our nation in the biggest tournaments across the globe, winning various accolades for India along the way. Some of his achievements as a player include a gold medal in the mixed doubles, 2 silver medals in the men’s doubles & Team championships respectively, at the SAASF tournament in 1989.

A coach of unparalled experience, he has been the national coach for the Indian since 2002. He is also the only coach who is currently training two Indian Olympians, one of which is our very own Manika Batra!

Fun Fact: Our owners and the coach have grown up playing the sport and have been friends since then. It was a unanimous decision for them to pick him as the coach for the Yoddhas and reunite the family!
